What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone), the content of your bookings (dates, guest counts, notes and messages), and payment metadata — which method was used, the amount, and the transaction reference. We never store full card numbers; those go directly to the payment gateway.
Why we collect it
To operate bookings: showing a vendor who is asking and for what, holding a date, taking payment, scheduling payouts, and resolving disputes. We also use aggregate, non-identifying figures to report on how the marketplace is performing.
What the other party sees
When you send a request, the vendor sees your name, your event details and your messages. Your phone number and email become visible to them once the booking is confirmed and paid, because they need to reach you on the day. Vendors see nothing about customers who have only viewed a listing.
Who else we share it with
Payment providers, to process a charge or refund. SMS providers, to send booking confirmations. Nobody else — we do not sell personal data, and we do not pass contact details to third-party marketers.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are retained for as long as required for accounting and dispute resolution. You can ask us to delete your account; records tied to completed financial transactions are retained in a minimal form to meet those obligations.
Your choices
You can see and correct your details in your account settings, ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account. Write to support@example.com.
